Most parts suppliers start from a catalogue. AMT started from a workbench — from the orders that stalled, the quotes customers questioned, and the aircraft that sat waiting on a single component.
How a repair shop became a parts company.
Before AMT
Two decades of wheel, brake, and landing gear overhaul
Running their own MRO facility, the founders handled the parts that take the most abuse on an aircraft — and learned exactly where they crack, wear, and corrode.
The pattern
The repair was rarely the hard part
The shop had the skills and the capacity. What held jobs back was OEM pricing that was hard to justify to customers, and lead times nobody could promise.
2020
Air Mount Technic is founded
Rather than keep working around the problem, they set out to design alternatives themselves, informed by how parts are installed, inspected, and replaced in practice.
Today
Three product lines, one standard
PMA parts, Aero-Jolt ground power, and Aero-Wipe consumables, each held to the question the founders asked in the shop: would we trust this on our own work?

70+ years of combined aviation experience.
Chief Executive Officer
Our CEO served in the U.S. Marine Corps before a fifty-year career as a certified aircraft mechanic. At AMT he is the final technical judgement on a part: how it fits, how it wears in service, and whether he would install it himself.
Chief Financial Officer
Our CFO has spent thirty years on the business side of aviation and holds an MBA from Thunderbird. He shapes how AMT prices, sources, and delivers, so that a well-made part is also one a customer can actually plan around.
